Our standard owner-financed note is a fixed-rate loan with payments amortized over 30 years, and a balloon payment — the entire remaining balance — due at the end of 15 years. Your monthly payment stays the same the whole time; at year 15 the loan is paid off, refinanced, or the balance is paid in full. We'll walk you through exactly what your balloon amount would be before you sign.
